The Xeon E-2286G is the highest-clocked six-core model in Intel's Coffee Lake Refresh-based Xeon E-2200 family, launched in May 2019. Its 95 W TDP allows a 4.0 GHz base clock, favouring lightly threaded workloads on entry workstations and servers that need ECC memory and integrated graphics. It succeeds the Xeon E-2186G. Like the rest of the family it requires a motherboard with an Intel C246-series chipset, which enables its ECC memory support.
