Intel Xeon E-2124

4C/4T · 4.3 GHz · 71 W

The Xeon E-2124 is the entry quad-core model of Intel's Coffee Lake-based Xeon E-2100 family for entry servers and workstations, launched in July 2018. It has neither integrated graphics nor Hyper-Threading, so it is aimed at budget single-socket servers that rely on a discrete GPU or a server management controller for video output. Like the rest of the family it requires a motherboard with an Intel C246-series chipset, which enables its ECC memory support.

Notes
Microsoft lists the Xeon E-2100 Series among the supported processors for Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2; the platform must still supply TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Windows 11 26H2 support follows the 25H2 list, and Windows 10 is supported. Coffee Lake is covered by mainline Linux kernels, so current Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch releases run without extra patches.
