Intel Xeon D-1581

16C/32T · 2.4 GHz · 65 W

The Xeon D-1581 is a sixteen-core, thirty-two-thread Broadwell-DE system-on-chip introduced in the first quarter of 2016, when Intel extended the Xeon D-1500 family to twelve and sixteen cores. Rated at 65 W, it was supplied to OEMs rather than offered at a public list price, and targets dense microservers, storage and network systems that need many cores with integrated 10 Gigabit Ethernet.

Notes
Broadwell-based Xeon D processors are not on Microsoft's supported-processor lists for Windows 11 24H2, 25H2 or 26H2; Windows 10 runs on them, although these embedded server platforms normally run Windows Server or a Linux distribution. ChromeOS is not offered for this platform.
