Intel Xeon 6970E+

192C/192T · 3.2 GHz · 400 W

The Xeon 6970E+ is a 192-core member of Intel's Xeon 6+ family (Clearwater Forest), launched at Computex on June 1, 2026. Like the rest of the family it uses only Darkmont efficiency cores without Hyper-Threading, built on Intel's 18A process, and it is unusual in pairing its core count with 480 MB of L3 cache and a 3.0 GHz all-core turbo for dense cloud and network workloads in one- and two-socket servers.

Notes
Xeon 6+ server processors do not appear on Microsoft's Windows 10 (22H2) or Windows 11 (24H2, 25H2) supported Intel processor lists, and no 26H2 list has been published. As a server processor it is mainly deployed with Windows Server and enterprise Linux distributions.
