Intel Pentium Gold G6600

2C/4T · 58 W

The Pentium Gold G6600 is the fastest dual-core, four-thread chip in Intel's 10th Gen Comet Lake-S Pentium Gold range, launched in 2020 for the LGA 1200 platform. It runs at a fixed 4.2 GHz without Turbo Boost and, like other Pentium parts of its generation, omits AVX and AVX2, making it a budget option for office PCs and basic home systems.

Notes
Microsoft's Windows 11 supported-processor list names the Pentium Gold G6000 series, and the Windows 10 21H2 list names the G6600 itself. The 24H2 and 25H2 lists carry the series only as "Pentium Gold 6000 Series"; Microsoft has not published a separate list for 26H2, so the 25H2 status is carried over. Mainstream Linux distributions are supported.
