Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 288V

8C/8T · 5.1 GHz · 30 W

Top model of the Lunar Lake family, launched in September 2024 for premium thin-and-light Copilot+ laptops. Unlike the other Core Ultra 200V chips, which start at a 17 W base power, it is rated at 30 W, allowing its 5.1 GHz P-core turbo and the fastest Arc 140V graphics clock in the lineup to be sustained longer. It carries 32 GB of on-package memory, and Intel rates the whole chip at 120 peak INT8 TOPS across CPU, GPU and NPU.

Notes
Intel supports only Windows 11 on Lunar Lake; Windows 10 is not supported. Microsoft lists Core Ultra (Series 2) on the Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 processor lists; 26H2's list is not yet published, so the 25H2 status is carried over. Mainstream Linux distributions run on this processor.
