Intel Core i9-8950HK

6C/12T · 4.8 GHz · 45 W

The Core i9-8950HK was the first mobile Intel processor to carry the Core i9 brand, introduced in April 2018 at the top of the 8th Generation Coffee Lake-H line for gaming laptops and mobile workstations. It was also Intel's first six-core consumer mobile chip, and it debuted Thermal Velocity Boost, which opportunistically raises clock speeds while the processor is running cool enough to allow it. The unlocked multiplier let enthusiast notebook makers push it further still, provided the chassis could remove the heat.
