Intel Core i7 processor 14701E

8C/16T · 5.4 GHz · 65 W

65 W member of Intel's 14th Gen Core processors for edge and embedded systems, introduced in the third quarter of 2024. It uses only performance cores: eight Raptor Cove cores with Hyper-Threading run from 2.6 GHz up to 5.4 GHz, backed by 33 MB of Intel Smart Cache. Built for the LGA1700 socket with ECC memory support, it serves industrial automation, edge servers and other long-life systems that prefer a homogeneous core layout.

Notes
Microsoft lists 14th Gen Intel Core processors as supported for Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2, and Windows 10 is supported as well, including the IoT Enterprise editions used in embedded systems. Microsoft has not published a separate processor list for Windows 11 26H2, so the 25H2 status is carried over. Mainstream Linux distributions are supported.
