Intel Core i7-5930K Processor

6C/12T · 3.7 GHz · 140 W

The Intel Core i7-5930K is a six-core Haswell-E processor for the X99 platform and LGA 2011-v3 socket, launched in August 2014. It differs from the cheaper Core i7-5820K mainly by higher clock speeds and the full 40 PCIe lanes, which allows more bandwidth for multi-GPU and storage setups. It supports quad-channel DDR4 memory and has no integrated graphics.

Notes
Microsoft's supported processor lists for Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 start at 8th Gen Intel Core (plus select Core X-series 7000X models), so this processor is not supported; Windows 10 is. Microsoft has not published a separate processor list for Windows 11 26H2, so the 25H2 status is carried over. Mainstream Linux distributions and ChromeOS Flex are supported. macOS is not supported.
