Intel Core i7-12700E Processor

12C/20T · 4.8 GHz · 65 W

The Intel Core i7-12700E is the embedded/IoT variant of Intel's 12th Generation (Alder Lake) processor family, built on the Intel 7 process node for long-lifecycle availability in industrial, retail, medical, and edge-computing systems. It uses a hybrid core architecture with 12 cores (8 Performance-cores and 4 Efficient-cores) and 20 threads, running Performance-cores at a 2.10 GHz base frequency up to 4.80 GHz max turbo, backed by 25 MB of Intel Smart Cache and a 65 W base power rating. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 handles onboard graphics, while the processor supports DDR5-4800 or DDR4-3200 memory across two channels (up to 128 GB, with ECC support) and up to 20 PCIe lanes across PCIe 5.0 and 4.0. It mounts in the FCLGA1700 socket and launched in Q1 2022 at a recommended customer price of $378.
