Intel Core i7-11800H Processor

8C/16T · 4.6 GHz · 45 W

Eight-core, 16-thread Tiger Lake-H laptop processor launched by Intel in May 2021 and one of the most widely used chips in gaming laptops of that generation. Its Willow Cove cores run at 2.3 GHz base at 45 W, or 1.9 GHz at 35 W, and up to 4.6 GHz, with 24 MB of Intel Smart Cache. Its 20 PCIe 4.0 lanes allow a full x16 link to a discrete GPU alongside a PCIe 4.0 SSD, and it supports Thunderbolt 4.

Notes
Microsoft lists 11th Gen Intel Core processors as supported for Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2, and Windows 10 is supported as well. Microsoft has not published a separate processor list for Windows 11 26H2, so the 25H2 status is carried over. Mainstream Linux distributions and ChromeOS Flex are supported.
