The Intel Core i7-10510Y is the fastest member of Intel's 10th Gen Amber Lake Y line, a refresh of the 14 nm Kaby Lake design aimed at fanless and detachable systems. Its very low thermal envelope allows passive cooling while still leaving turbo headroom for short bursts, so it was chosen for premium convertibles and tablets where thinness and silence mattered more than sustained throughput. Memory support is limited to LPDDR3 and DDR3L, which sets it apart from the DDR4-based 10th Gen parts.
