The Core i5-1245UL is an Alder Lake-PS processor introduced in the third quarter of 2022 for retail, point-of-sale, healthcare and other edge systems. It takes the mobile Alder Lake-U die, with two performance-cores and eight efficient-cores, and puts it in a socketed LGA1700 package with long-life availability, so compact embedded boards can use desktop-style sockets. It supports Intel vPro Enterprise and a configurable 12-28 W power range; its efficient-cores turbo to 2.5 GHz, lower than the 3.3 GHz of the mobile Core i5-1245U. Iris Xe graphics require dual-channel memory, otherwise the GPU operates as UHD Graphics.
