Intel Core i3-390M

2C/4T · 35 W

The Core i3-390M is the fastest dual-core Arrandale Core i3 for laptops, released in January 2011 near the end of the first-generation Core mobile lineup. It runs at a fixed 2.66 GHz with Hyper-Threading but no Turbo Boost, and like other Arrandale Core i3 chips it lacks AES-NI. Its package combines a 32 nm processor die with a separate 45 nm die that carries the memory controller and Intel HD Graphics.

Notes
Windows 11 requires 8th Gen Intel Core or newer, so this processor is not on Microsoft's supported lists for 24H2, 25H2 or 26H2. Windows 10 installs on it, and mainstream Linux distributions that target the base x86-64 level run on it, but builds that require x86-64-v3 (AVX2) do not.
