Intel Core i3-380UM

2C/4T · 18 W

An ultra-low-voltage Core i3 for thin and light notebooks, built on the same two-die Arrandale package as the mainstream mobile parts but held to an 18 W power envelope. Without Turbo Boost it runs at a fixed frequency, and both the cores and the graphics are clocked well below the 35 W models in exchange for battery life.

Notes
Windows 10 installs and runs on this processor even though the published Microsoft compatibility list only enumerates 5th Gen Core and newer. No Arrandale processor appears on any Windows 11 supported-processor list. Microsoft has not published a separate processor list for Windows 11 26H2, so the 25H2 result is carried over here. Current Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch releases still run: Westmere provides SSE4.2 and POPCNT, so it meets the x86-64-v2 baseline those distributions now require. ChromeOS F
