Intel Core 5 Processor 221E

14C/20T · 5.2 GHz · 65 W

Hybrid fourteen-core member of Intel's Core Series 2 edge processors (Core 200E family), introduced at CES in January 2025. It combines six performance cores (2.7-5.2 GHz) with eight efficient cores (2.1-3.9 GHz) for 20 threads within a 65 W base power, and uses the larger UHD Graphics 770 with 32 execution units. It targets industrial automation, medical and retail edge systems, supports ECC memory and qualifies for Intel vPro Enterprise.

Notes
Intel's graphics driver for this processor supports Windows 10 and Windows 11, and Intel positions the edge platform for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024. Microsoft lists Core Processors (Series 2) on the Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 processor lists; 26H2's list is not yet published, so the 25H2 status is carried over. Mainstream Linux distributions and real-time Linux are supported.
