Intel Atom x5-Z8350

4C/4T · 1.9 GHz · 2 W

The Intel Atom x5-Z8350 is a 2016 refresh of the entry-level Cherry Trail Atom x5-Z8300 on a newer D1 stepping. It became one of the most widespread Atom chips, found in countless budget Windows tablets, compute sticks, mini PCs and single-board computers such as the UP board, and its single-channel memory controller limits systems to 2 GB of RAM.

Notes
Shipped in Windows 10 and Android devices; many Windows tablets use 32-bit UEFI firmware. It is not on Microsoft's Windows 11 supported-processor lists for 24H2 or 25H2, and 26H2 keeps the same requirements, so Windows 10 is the newest supported Windows release. Mainstream Linux distributions run on it, although device support varies by tablet.
