The Ryzen Threadripper PRO 3955WX is a 16-core, 32-thread workstation processor from AMD's first Threadripper PRO line, announced on July 14, 2020. It pairs four Zen 2 chiplets with a 12 nm I/O die and offers the full Threadripper PRO platform of the sWRX8 socket and WRX80 chipset, with eight-channel DDR4 and 128 PCIe 4.0 lanes, at a lower core count than the flagship 3995WX. It launched in the Lenovo ThinkStation P620 before becoming available at retail in 2021, and AMD PRO technologies add remote manageability and memory encryption.
