AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX

16C/32T · 5.4 GHz · 55 W

The AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX is the flagship of the Dragon Range family, bringing sixteen Zen 4 cores and thirty-two threads from the desktop Ryzen 9 7950X design to high-end gaming and creator laptops. Two 5 nm core chiplets and a 6 nm I/O die deliver up to 5.4 GHz boost, 64 MB of L3 cache and 28 PCIe 5.0 lanes, while the small two-CU Radeon 610M handles basic display duties. Its default TDP is 55 W, configurable up to 75 W.

Notes
AMD lists Windows 11 64-bit, Windows 10 64-bit, RHEL and Ubuntu support. Microsoft's Windows 11 25H2 supported-processor list covers the whole Ryzen 7000 Series and 26H2 keeps the 25H2 requirements. Fedora and Arch Linux run on mainline kernels, and ChromeOS Flex installs on generic 64-bit x86 hardware.
