4C/4T · 3.4 GHz · 15 W

The AMD Ryzen 3 2300U is a quad-core, four-thread laptop processor announced at CES on 8 January 2018 as the mainstream Ryzen 3 option in AMD's first Ryzen mobile family. Unlike the higher Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 models it has simultaneous multithreading disabled, and it pairs its four Zen cores with six-CU Radeon Vega 6 graphics. It runs at 15 W by default, configurable from 12 W to 25 W.

Notes
AMD lists Windows 10 64-bit, RHEL and Ubuntu support. First-generation Ryzen mobile processors (Raven Ridge) do not appear on Microsoft's Windows 11 24H2 or 25H2 supported-processor lists, and 26H2 keeps the same requirements, so Windows 10 is the newest officially supported Windows release. Mainstream Linux distributions run on Zen without restriction, and ChromeOS Flex installs on generic 64-bit x86 hardware.
