The EPYC 9754S is a variant of the 128-core EPYC 9754, the top model of AMD's Bergamo line of cloud-native 4th Gen EPYC 9004 processors, launched on June 13, 2023. It has simultaneous multithreading disabled, so each of its 128 Zen 4c cores runs a single thread, which suits cloud providers that rent out whole physical cores and was sold at a lower price than the 256-thread EPYC 9754. Zen 4c is a compact version of Zen 4 with the same instruction set but less cache per core, letting AMD place sixteen cores on each core chiplet. It has 256 MB of L3 cache, a 2.25 GHz base clock and up to 3.1 GHz boost, twelve channels of DDR5-4800 memory and 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes, and supports single- and dual-socket servers. The default TDP is 360 W, configurable between 320 W and 400 W.
