AMD A4-9120C

2C/2T · 2.4 GHz · 6 W

The A4-9120C is a low-power dual-core APU from AMD's 7th-generation Stoney Ridge family, announced at CES 2019 as one of AMD's first processors built specifically for Chromebooks and debuting in the Acer Chromebook 315. Its two Excavator cores run at 1.6 GHz with boost up to 2.4 GHz alongside three-compute-unit Radeon R4 graphics, all within a 6 W envelope suited to thin, quiet designs. It is a lower-power counterpart to the 15 W A4-9120.

Notes
AMD provides Windows 10 64-bit graphics drivers for this processor. It is not on Microsoft's Windows 11 supported-processor lists for 24H2 or 25H2, and 26H2 keeps the same requirements, so Windows 10 is the newest supported Windows release. Mainstream Linux distributions run on it. macOS is tracked for Apple-designed cores only.
